Lilliput House is not designed to take residents who may be violent or may wander. However, if the resident is merely a bit forgetful then we can probably help, subject to an assessment by our management team.
Our resident/staff ratio comfortably exceeds the guidelines laid down by the Primary Care Trust. There is always a member of management or qualified senior members of staff on duty at any given time, in addition to our Care Assistants.
Fees for long term residents are payable monthly in advance, preferably by direct debit. Accounts for short-term/respite residents are payable weekly in advance. All sundry items e.g. newspapers, toiletries, hairdressing are charged for monthly in arrears.
Yes, in addition to the alternative choice at each meal, residents may always request other dishes. Special diets and allergies can also be catered for. All food is freshly prepared by our own chefs on a daily basis.
Yes, we have three mobility friendly bathrooms located on both floors and a wheelchair accessible wetroom. All rooms have ensuite facilities; some rooms have shower facilities. Hoists and lifting apparatus are available, as required.
Visitors are welcome at any time but are advised to avoid early mornings, meal and rest times where possible. Visitors are most welcome to join the resident for meals in our dining room, with prior notice.
